Albert J. Rädler Medal Award 2025

Encouraging Academic Excellence in European Taxation
Applications for the 2025 edition of the Albert J. Rädler Medal Award can be submitted till 31 January 2026.

CFE established the Albert J. Rädler Medal Award in 2013 to encourage academic excellence among young tax students and to commemorate the late Professor Albert J. Rädler (1933 – 2012). Applications for the 2025 Albert J. Rädler Medal Award can now be submitted.

For an applicants’ Master thesis to be eligible for this award, an applicant must have completed a Master’s thesis in European taxation which received a distinction in the relevant calendar year (2023/2024), and be 35 years or under on the 31st of December 2024. The thesis should be written in English or, in the alternative, an English translation must be provided. For more details, please check out the attached document.

Master Theses need to be submitted by 31 January 2026 via email. The Medal will be awarded at the CFE Forum on Thursday 23 April 2026 in Brussels.
