On 15 October 2025, the JOB Commissie Vaktechniek (Tax Knowledge Committee of JOB) organizes the JOB Seminar Transfer Pricing Meets Customs Valuation: Strategies for Mitigating Tariff Exposure. This will be the first English-speaking seminar organized by the JOB Commissie Vaktechniek. We warmly encourage all JOB-members to attend!

Global tariff and tax developments are increasingly shaping business strategies and intercompany pricing policies. This seminar will explore the intersection of Transfer Pricing and Customs Valuation, demonstrating how coordinated tax, transfer pricing, and customs planning can support cost management by mitigating tariff exposures. Do not miss the opportunity to learn, through practical examples, how integrated planning can guide strategic supply chain decision-making and optimize global value chain costs. This seminar is also relevant for professionals outside the TP or customs practice, as this knowledge will help you to identify and flag relevant issues early on for your clients or internal stakeholders of your organization.

The speakers are Agata Uceda and Khalid Abdullah. Agata is a partner in the transfer pricing team at Meijburg & Co, with more than 20 years of experience in transfer pricing. She is also a guest lecturer at several universities in the Netherlands and Vienna. Ágata has been named ‘Best in Transfer Pricing’ multiple times at the European Women in Business Awards and is regularly cited by Euromoney as one of the world’s leading transfer pricing advisors. Khalid is senior manager in the indirect tax team at Meijburg & Co and serves as KPMG’s EMEA Trade & Customs Knowledge Lead. He has more than 10 years of experience in advising businesses with indirect taxes, customs, international trade and ESG matters. Khalid is also a lecturer at Maastricht University and frequently publishes articles in leading professional journals.

Costs
